Diving in Dominica

Saturday, May 25

After our 14-mile Boiling Lake hike from the day before, we were looking forward to a day of relaxation.  We decided to sign up for a dive with Aldive, a dive shop just down the street from SeaCat's where we were moored.

The dive boat actually came to the boat to pick us up!  Great service!

While Ted and Scott have captured the entire two dives on video with their GoPros, Gene and I managed to take a bunch of pictures with our underwater camera.  Here are some of the best shots from the two dives.

Spotted Eel, coming at Gene, prepared to attack

rOur second dive was to an area called Champagne Flutes.  The sulfur bubbles that come up are from the volcanic hot spots below the ocean floor.  Here's Megan striking a pose in the bubbles.

Huge puffer fish

If you look closely, you'll see a Sea Horse

Gene's apparently nark'd, upside down in 10 feet of water
