September 6 - 11
We stayed with Vik & Jaya during our week in Delhi, India at their home in New Delhi. Vik and Gene used to work together in Atlanta with Cap Gemini. Vik and Jaya moved back to India about 4 years ago with their son Viroj. They now have another son, Yesh, who is 2. The boys are so adorable and extremely smart. We had a blast hanging out with the whole family.

Punjabi By Nature - one of the best Indian restaurants Gene and I have ever been too.
So good!
This is kind of like an after-dinner mint. All of these ingredients are wrapped together in some kind of leaf and you eat the entire leaf-filled treat. It was really delicious and refreshing.
Here's Gene teaching Viroj a song on the pink guitar. Viroj is taking guitar lessons and singing lessons - he's really talented!
Vik and Jaya took us to Haldiram's - it reminds us of Eatzi's. We loved it!
Vik took Gene and I to one of his family's farms. This is the smaller of the two farms which is hard to believe since it's on 3+ acres. It's really a gorgeous property with a lovely house, pool, and beautiful gardens.
Viroj had a great time squirting Gene with the super soaker that afternoon!
This was taken at the Delhi Airport before our flight to Kathmandu. The Delhi airport has some interesting art.
