The last two days of the Jennings and the Kings visit were very rainy so we spent those days relaxing on the boat, snorkeling, kayaking, reading, drinking, unsuccessfully attempting to dry the soaking wet towels in between the constant rain showers.

After an entire day of relaxing on the boat, we were ready to do something off the boat, so we sailed north to the little beach town of Mero and spent the day on the beach and at the Romance beach restaurant. The owner of Romance was so nice - she cooked us an incredible meal, gave us some fresh papaya, and let us use her showers!
We sailed past the Layou River on the way to Mero. Here's the mouth of the Layou River.
