Sailing / Fishing The Coast of St. Kitts – No Luck

January 3 - 4

Thursday was another day full of sailing and fishing – everyone was very eager to catch some fish! The weather was pretty rough with winds up to 25 knots, so we had great conditions for speed, but didn't have much luck with the fish. We ended up catching another barracuda. We decided to admit defeat and come back to shore and anchor off of South Friar's Bay where the Shipwreck bar is located. We spent the rest of the day on the beach. Amber and Kat rented paddle boards and had fun paddle boarding around the bay. The next day, we decided to try our luck one more time sailing along the coast in hopes of catching fish. We had much better sailing conditions, but unfortunately we did not have any luck with fish. Again, we caught a barracuda.
